So, let’s cut to the chase - we need an outstanding Project Manager for our Applications team, who will contribute to the growth and profitability of Lactalis Australia.Your ExpertiseReporting to the Applications Manager, you will have responsibility for understanding and documenting business and technology needs to enable the Applications Team to design solutions and then to lead the projects to deliver those solutions.This is a new position and offers a large amount of autonomy to help drive the capability and maturity of project delivery in the Applications team. The Project Manager will be the key to our success in large projects that support the Lactalis Australia business to better adopt and use our internal business systems.Responsibilities· Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to capture requirements and business rules.· You should be able to convey technical information in a way that is easy for non-technical people to understand.· Perform gap analysis to compare current state with future state and document the delta.· Coordinate and deliver Disaster Recovery drills, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and software training courses where appropriate.· Develop requirement specifications, business cases, functional specifications, process models and state transition models.· Develop and maintain documentation such as system training manuals, disaster recovery guidelines and ensure all documents are written using clear and concise language.· Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and documentation.· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders to support and implement solutions according to requirements.· Liaise closely with the broader technology group regarding prioritisation and estimation of levels of effort, risk, and cost of implementation.· Identify issues and risks, ensuring that they are appropriately raised and actioned.· Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.· Manage and coordinate contractors, suppliers, including tracking/monitoring of performance against agreed service levels, project plans and milestones.Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required· A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related industry experience.· 3+ years Project Management Experience working on Software projects.· Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.· Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate your team, resolve conflicts, and delegate tasks effectively.· Experience in managing vendors and third-party contractors to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships· Strong verbal and written communication skills.· Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce is desirable.· Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall Project Management Methodologies.This is an excellent opportunity to join an awesome team and lead some challenging projects, during an exciting time of company growth and success.
