Ensuring mechanical maintenance functions including breakdown, preventative and project works are completed efficiently, in a professional manager whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.Your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:Enhance the areas of responsibility by adopting excellence in hygiene, operational and safety standards by focusing on good manufacturing practices including housekeeping, reducing waste, personal hygiene and conformance to procedures.Ensure that relevant documentation relating to the areas of responsibility are maintained to present standards.Partake in Preventative Maintenance program in order to achieve world class machine and line efficiency.Log and complete all work in the maintenance system as listed on the work schedule.Read pneumatic schematics and fault find in a safe and efficient manner and make modifications as required.Weld all materials using Oxy, Tig, Mig.Investigate failures and provide recommendation of risk improvements.Work unsupervised on shift and make decisions in order to promote efficiency.Ensure that all safety checks are performed as per instructions.Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to ensure machine efficiency.Promote a helpful and friendly relationship with customers and staff including communicating effectively with production people and other members of the maintenance team.Report any problems that could disrupt the smooth running of the operation.Project work as required.Assist in the training of new staff and or functions when required.Complete all tasks and duties as reasonably requested by management.In return we offer an exciting career challenge for you to make an immediate impact, career growth opportunities, competitive salary package and a team orientated and fast paced work environment committed to succeeding.If you have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role please submit your application, including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts.No Recruitment Agencies – We have this one covered!
