About this OpportunityLactalis Australia is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse operator at our Lidcombe Distribution Centre. About this Opportunity

Lactalis Australia is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse operator at our Lidcombe Distribution Centre. The shifts available: Afternoon shift 14:00-22:00.  This role is critical in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery across our supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee shift operations, dispatch schedules, and SAP WMS transactions
  • Manage vehicle loading/unloading and ensure dispatch accuracy
  • Promote "Right First Time" and "On Time In Full" service standards
  • Lead a high-performing team, allocate duties, and support training and development
  • Maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental policies
  • Monitor KPIs, maintain shift records, and support continuous improvement
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding stock, delays, and documentation
  • Plan and allocate loads, manage capacity, and reconcile delivery paperwork
  • Perform administrative tasks including driver inductions, internal orders, and document control

Health, Safety & Environment Accountabilities:

  • Promote a zero-injury culture and safe work practices
  • Report and investigate incidents and near misses
  • Support sustainability initiatives and comply with environmental regulations

Leadership Accountabilities:

  • Set clear expectations and lead by example

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certificate or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or administration (preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced SAP WMS and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to safety and compliance
  • Knowledge of MHE & equipment management.
  • Proficient in writing Standard Operating Procedures/ Safety operating procedures and work instructions
  • Forklift licence preferred but not essential
