About the Role
We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Brand Manager to drive our Foodservice business. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager Foodservice, you will lead key products and categories, develop and execute brand plans, and drive growth and market share. This pivotal role involves leading innovation from brief to market launch, executing advertising campaigns, and monitoring performance to achieve our business objectives. This hybrid role is based in South Brisbane, with options to work from our Lidcombe (Sydney) or Scoresby (Melbourne) offices and remotely up to 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for key brands, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Mentor and guide Brand Managers within the Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop a comprehensive 1-2 year Marketing Plan that aligns with the Long-Term Plan (LTP), addressing market trends, consumer insights, and the competitive landscape.
- Innovation: Manage New Product Development (NPD) & Existing Product Development (EPD) projects from ideation to execution. Identify opportunities for product development or enhancement to meet customer and consumer needs and market trends.
- Advertising & Campaigns: Oversee the creation of new key visuals and advertisement campaigns for key brands. Lead the Lactalis Foodservice ecommerce advertising strategy, including electronic direct mail (eDM) campaigns, brand advertisements, and digital marketing initiatives. Ensure all advertising efforts align with brand positioning and marketing objectives.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget on a day-to-day basis, ensuring adherence to allocated funds and optimizing spending to achieve maximum ROI. Collaborate with finance and other stakeholders to develop accurate budget forecasts and track spending against budgetary targets.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business (Marketing) or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in brand management within the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of driving brand growth and market share.
- Proficiency in creating and executing advertising strategies.
- Strong experience leading complex innovation projects and advertising campaigns from concept to execution.
- Proven leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in the dairy or food industry is preferred but not required.
