This is a key leadership role at our Harvey Fresh site, overseeing and leading our UHT/ESL production team. You’ll manage day‑to‑day processing and packaging to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality output and work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics and other site functions to keep production running smoothly.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and develop the production team to lift capability and performance
Respond to urgent technical or people‑related issues outside standard hours when required
Drive a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement
Optimise filling and packaging operations to meet quantity, quality and schedule targets
Partner with stakeholders to reduce production costs and optimise budgets
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, quality systems and site standards
Identify and resolve production issues proactively
Champion safety and contribute to a proactive safety culture
You’re an experienced production leader from FMCG, dairy or a similar high‑speed manufacturing environment. You’re calm under pressure, solutions‑focused, and confident leading teams through complexity.
You’ll also bring:
3-5 years’ experience in production or operations leadership
Certificate IV in Food Processing or relevant qualification (highly desirable)
Strong technical capability across SAP, Tetrapak machinery, HACCP, GMP, RCA, Lean and 5S
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
