About this opportunity:

We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Manager for a full-time position at out Lidcombe manufacturing plant. 

About you:

We require a team-oriented and skilled Maintenance Materials Manager who is:

Self-motivated, experienced in FMCG (preference in dairy industry) 

Key Accountabilities

• Optimise maintenance costs while maintaining machine and line efficiencies to meet company standards.

• Recommend and implement operating plans, budgets, and capital additions within budgetary guidelines.

• Stay informed about all relevant policies, procedures, and practices.

• Point of contact for maintenance related escalations which may occur within or outside usual business hours. 

• Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with local, national, and company regulations, including managing site services like boilers and chillers. 

• Follow through on all reports of equipment/property damage to resolution.

• Ensure all maintenance employees adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Promote behaviours among employees that align with company KPIs and objectives, particularly towards quality and safety. 

• Compliance to quality systems to guarantee and improve product quality.

• Develop and implement a proactive maintenance strategy to ensure efficient operations.

• Maintain a well-stocked inventory of spare parts to keep all factory equipment in optimal working condition and minimise downtime.

• Monitor the effectiveness of Preventative Maintenance and Condition Monitoring programs.

• Implement the SAP Preventative Maintenance Program in line with company guidelines.

• Ensure maintenance operations stay within budget and achieve Business Plan objectives.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in liquids food industry. 
• Experienced in Dairy industry 
• SAP system experience will be highly regarded.
