Maintenance Manager

This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all site assets, utilities, and services.You will oversee all aspects of maintenance planning, execution, and team leadership, with a strong focus on reducing downtime, improving asset performance, and managing costs effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesRepair, maintain, and improve site assets including land, buildings, machinery, and equipment.Manage utilities and equipment in compliance with local, national, and company regulations.Monitor and improve MTBF and MTTR on critical production lines.Lead predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance strategies.Define and maintain optimal spare parts inventory while minimizing non-moving stock.Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to optimize maintenance costs.Recommend and implement energy-saving initiatives across electricity, gas, and water.Oversee site services including boilers, chillers, air handling units, chemical distribution systems, compressed air systems, and trade waste systems.Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets in collaboration with the site financial controller.Maintain site documentation including layout drawings, manuals, validations, and certifications.Plan and execute annual plant shutdowns efficiently.Lead and develop the maintenance team, including KPI reviews and training.Support new site projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by your manager.What We’re Looking ForProven experience in site maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.People Management, Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.Experience with SAP PM or similar maintenance systems.Ability to manage budgets and drive cost-effective solutions.Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Why Lactalis?We’re not just another dairy company—we are the dairy company, with a legacy that spans back to 1933. About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and operations of our busy dairy manufacturing site. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all site assets, utilities, and services.
