BenefitsOpportunity for exposure to cutting-edge equipmentAnnual wage rate increases Discounted Health InsuranceAccess to our internal Employee Assistance Program that offers free, private and confidential counselling for you and your householdFree product to take home each weekGreat workplace culture Job Summary:Provide electrical support to the Lactalis - Harvey Fresh site to ensure equipment reliability through effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.Please note that this position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, across 2 days, 2 nights and 4 consecutive days off. Key Responsibilities:Preventative Maintenance: Conducting scheduled maintenance on processing, packaging, and cooling/heating systems to prevent breakdowns and improve equipment reliability. Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on a wide range of equipment, including machinery, control wiring, and motors, often under time pressure. PLC & Automation Systems: Installing, programming, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and other automation systems used in complex manufacturing processes. Electrical Installation & Maintenance: Performing installations and repairs of electrical systems, conduit, and components up to 415 volts, as well as maintaining complex electrical connections. Technical Documentation: Reading, interpreting, and updating electrical schematics, prints, and technical drawings. Safety & Compliance: Adhering strictly to safety policies, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, JSAs, Risk Assessments, permits to work and WHS/OHS regulations. Collaboration: Working with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, implement process improvements, and provide technical assistance. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and electrical system modifications. Use of Diagnostic Tools: Operating various electrical test equipment, including multimeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and meggers. About YouTrade Qualification Advanced problem solving including root cause analysis (5 Why’s)Knowledge of PLC programming preferredSound knowledge of hazards and emergency proceduresKnowledge of high-speed equipment (FMCG)Previous experience as an industrial electrician3-5 Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment- preferably within Food and Beverage IndustryWE ARE LACTALIS AUSTRALIAWe are owned by the Lactalis Group, the world's largest producer of dairy goods.  We span over 94 countries, 250 production sites and 80,000 employees. Job Summary:

About You

  • Trade Qualification 
  • Advanced problem solving including root cause analysis (5 Why’s)
  • Knowledge of PLC programming preferred
  • Sound knowledge of hazards and emergency procedures
  • Knowledge of high-speed equipment (FMCG)
  • Previous experience as an industrial electrician
  • 3-5 Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment- preferably within Food and Beverage Industry
