The role is project-focused, and will provide hands-on experience in product development, industrial trials, laboratory testing, sensory evaluation, and technical support activities within the Food Service category. About the Opportunity

About You

To be the successful applicant for the Junior Food Technologist role you should have

  • Master Degree (preferred) in food science/technology or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Food Science/Food technology 
  • Milk science and technology: Knowing of milk components, interaction and evolution during processes
  • Physics and chemistry of milk: Knowing different forms of milk components and how identify them in laboratory
  • Microbiology basics: Ability to understand relevant microbiology and its effects on Group products, including effective and timely crisis management.
  • Nutrition basics: Ability to analyse nutritional implications of products and improve it.
  • Sensory evaluation basics: Ability to conduct a basic sensory evaluations and comparisons between Group products and competitors' so to offer consumers a superior product.
  • Laboratory analysis: methods knowledge and interpretation: Knowledge of main analysis, equipment and methods to provide understanding and measurement during development phase
  • Understanding of all relevant regulation for the category
  • Good stakeholder management skills and working effectively cross-functionally
