About the role
We are seeking a Junior Commercial Controller to join our Commercial Management team, based in Scoresby VIC. Reporting to the Commercial Management Control Manager, this role will provide commercial accounting support, forecasting, and financial analysis to Sales and Marketing teams across products, channels, and customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developing finance professional to gain exposure to commercial finance in an FMCG environment, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to business performance.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. With a strong analytical mindset, you are confident translating financial data into practical insights and partnering with stakeholders across Sales and Marketing.
You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, and are working towards (or keen to pursue) your CA/CPA. You bring 2–3 years’ experience in commercial finance or a similar role, with exposure to forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.
You have strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP highly regarded), along with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes. Experience in FMCG, trade spend or continuous improvement initiatives will be highly valued.
