Inventory Controller

An opportunity now exists for an Inventory Controller to join our team at the Darwin site.Reporting to the Cold Room Manager, this position is responsible for the inventory management of products into and out of our Distribution Centre. The role is a blended hands-on role with early morning starts Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend and public holiday work may be required). The main responsibilities include but not be limited to:Liaise with the site planner to monitor stock levels ensuring they are adequate to meet sale requirementsContinual review of stocks and stock levels to reduce write-offs Forklift operation, receiving of inbound deliveries and replenishing of the pick locationsEnsure company products are correctly received, stored, recorded and allocated in a sound, saleable condition. About You:

  • Experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Previous experience with SAP
  • Sound understanding of Inventory Management best practice
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High level of Attention to Detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to able to problem solve and work autonomously
  • Excellent Excel and reporting skills
  • A forklift license is required with experience of forklift operation in a warehouse setting.
