Human Resources Manager

As a key HR leadership role at Lactalis Australia’s Bendigo manufacturing site, we are seeking a HR Manager to lead all people related processes and initiatives for the site.  Reporting to the Site Manager but with strong accountability to the centralised HR team, the HR Manager will deliver high-impact HR and industrial relations solutions that drive business performance and foster a values-aligned culture. You will be a trusted advisor and business partner to senior leaders, managers and employees across the site. The full remit of this role will include: First point of contact and resolution for HR related queries Lead end to end EBA negotiations  Liaison with Fair Work and relevant Unions relating to any industrial disputes and in turn provide effective IR advise to the site and leadership. Lead cyclical HR processes including annual performance review, talent and succession, and Engagement action planning. Recruitment and onboarding of new employees Engage with Learning & Development to plan, budget and track training needs for the site Proactively develop and implement communication, cultural and employee engagement improvement initiatives. About you: This role requires an autonomous HR professional with strong ER and IR knowledge looking to own accountability for HR across a site—ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engagement with teams and leading by example. You will bring: a working knowledge of relevant legislation implicit and explicit to the employment relationship and be able to interpret any appropriate industrial instruments (e.g. EAs, modern awards, contracts of employment). Strong relationship building capability that enables you to influence, negotiate and drive engagement and results A passion to deliver strong people outcomes, with well-developed coaching capability Our story: Ours is a STORY of a family business created by the Besnier Family in 1933 and is today the worlds’ No. 1 dairy company.
