HS&E Manager

Reporting to the Site Managers, with a functional reporting line to the Director HSW, this role is responsible for leading Health, Safety and Environment performance across three sites located in Nambour, Darwin and Richlands.As a trusted advisor and business partner, you will work closely with site leadership teams to drive a proactive safety culture, strengthen risk management practices and ensure compliance across all aspects of health, safety and environmental management.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HS&E professional who enjoys influencing leaders, coaching teams and delivering practical outcomes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key responsibilities include:Leading the execution of site-based Health, Safety and Environment plans aligned to national strategy.Partnering with Site Leadership Teams to embed a strong safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Providing expert advice and guidance on HS&E legislation, compliance requirements and best practice.Leading incident investigations, risk assessments and root cause analysis activities.Driving corrective actions and ensuring sustainable improvements are implemented across sites.Monitoring, analysing and reporting HS&E performance metrics and trendsCoordinating internal and external audits and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.Supporting environmental management initiatives and site sustainability objectives.Developing and delivering engaging HS&E training programs for leaders, employees and contractors.Managing workers compensation and injury management processes in partnership with operational leaders.Building strong relationships with regulators, external stakeholders and site management teams. About YouYou are a engaging and influential HS&E professional who can partner effectively with operational leaders to create safer, more sustainable workplaces.
