About the OpportunityWe’re looking for a proactive and people-focused HSE Advisor to join our team at Tamar Valley. About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused HSE Advisor to join our team at Tamar Valley. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about creating a safe and sustainable workplace. You’ll work closely with both our site and national teams, supporting all departments to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and contractors.

In This Role, You Will

  • Promote and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements across the site
  • Conduct proactive risk assessments on new and existing equipment
  • Lead and support safety investigations, driving corrective and preventative actions using safety psychology strategies
  • Provide expert guidance on environmental compliance and initiatives
  • Champion our safety culture through clear communication and team engagement
  • Be a key member of the Site Leadership Team, influencing safety strategy and outcomes

 About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS/OHS or a related field (preferred), with solid knowledge of Tasmanian OHS legislation & Environmental sustainability
  • Experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within manufacturing or a comparable industry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—you know how to bring people along on the safety journey
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for workplace safety
