About the Role:

The role will be responsible for control of stationary engines, and/or other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for manufacturing / cold rooms and other industrial purposes. Other role requirements include:

• Record keeping and tracking of refrigeration operations;
• Record keeping and tracking of boiler operations including Water treatment
• Inspection of equipment for operating efficiency;
• Monitoring of conditions for Quality Assurance and product safety;
• Uphold and distil safety practices in the workplace.
• Undertake Preventive Maintenance duties to ensure equipment reliability

 About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified /Licensed Refrigeration Mechanic
• High Risk Work License (Advanced Boiler preferable)
• Excellent communications and technical skills.
• Demonstrated experience in engine room / ammonia refrigeration operations;
• Happy to work a rotating roster across day and nightshifts 

Desirable Requirements:

• Ammonia Awareness training (preferred)
• Refrigeration Plant Operator training (preferred)
• Ammonia Experience
• Boiler License
• Knowledge of Air Compressors and Air dryers
• Confined Space
• CPR/LVR
