About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Day Shift DC Coordinator to join our Lidcombe Distribution Centre. This role is responsible for the daily coordination and performance of the day shift, ensuring all warehouse and distribution activities run safely, efficiently and on schedule.

You will oversee order picking, truck loading, inventory control, safety compliance and team performance, while supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Reporting to the Lidcombe DC Manager, your leadership will directly influence the success of a team of 10–20 employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute daily operational goals to meet service, safety and productivity targets

  • Conduct root‑cause investigations for hazards, incidents and risk assessments

  • Communicate effectively across a diverse audience, both verbally and in writing

  • Develop and deliver training tailored to varied skill levels and roles

  • Write and maintain SOPs, safety procedures and work instructions

  • Interpret and apply legislation and monitor compliance across the shift

  • Lead, coach and develop staff to build a positive culture and high performance

  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, safety and efficiency

  • Manage MHE and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation

  • Forklift licence preferred, but not essential

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution

  • Strong computer capability, including intermediate–advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience with SAP, WMS and RF systems (preferred but not essential)

  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence culture and manage performance

  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Confidence in managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
