About our roleThe Credit Officer will manage credit and receivable accounts to contribute to the organisation’s overall financial stability and profitability by minimising credit risk and improving collection efficiency.Responsibilities include:Collection of overdue accounts Resolving customer queries efficiently and professionallyPayment allocationsAccount reconciliationsReduce risk by proactively communicating and escalating issues immediately to Credit ManagerProvide weekly and monthly commentary on overdue accountsAssist and support other team members when required and share knowledge.About youCandidates must have:Certificate III in Financial Services or similar qualification (or equivalent industry experience).Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in Credit Control, preferably within FMCG.Proficient in SAP and other relevant financial systems.Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Exceptional attention to detail and analytical ability.Ability to manage relationships and work collaboratively across teams.You approach your work with initiative, practicality, and openness, consistently demonstrating ambition, engagement, and simplicity. Credit Officer

  • Permanent full-time position in a Global FMCG business
  • Hybrid working model 60% in office, 40% WFH
  • Parking available and conveniently located near public transport

About our role

The Credit Officer will manage credit and receivable accounts to contribute to the organisation’s overall financial stability and profitability by minimising credit risk and improving collection efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collection of overdue accounts 
  • Resolving customer queries efficiently and professionally
  • Payment allocations
  • Account reconciliations
  • Reduce risk by proactively communicating and escalating issues immediately to Credit Manager
  • Provide weekly and monthly commentary on overdue accounts
  • Assist and support other team members when required and share knowledge.

About you

Candidates must have:

  • Certificate III in Financial Services or similar qualification (or equivalent industry experience).
