This role is based at our South Brisbane office although open to applicants looking to work out of our Lidcombe office (Sydney) or Scoresby office (Melbourne). This is a hybrid role meaning there is opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days per week.Key accountabilities of the role are: ACTIVATION / GO-TO-MARKET STRATEGY:Develop & execute annual activation strategy that is aligned to the LTP, marketing & channel plans in conjunction with marketing and sales leads to achieve the SBU objectives.Analyse customer market insights & trends and recommend the appropriate strategy including range, pricing & activation opportunities by channel.Recommend & drive (with the support of the Marketing Manager) appropriate customer research projects with the purpose of seeking solutions to marketing activation problems. SALES TOOLS & EDUCATION: Development & execution of go-to-market strategy including sales tools required for innovation launches / existing products that educate teams on products within required timeframes including (but not limited to):Take charge of activation of NPD from moment of production to ensure launch plans created in conjunction with the sales team and execution in line withProduct catalogues / Trade Presenters / POSDevelopment and implementation of educational material for the Foodservice sales teams & customers on the culinary use and benefits of the Foodservice productsDevelopment of sales meeting materials including category/channel updates, NPD launches and presentation of plans at Cycle forums.TRADE SHOWS & DEMONSTRATION DAYS:Lead & co-ordinate the implementation of the Lactalis Foodservice stand at industry trade shows as outlined in the marketing plans & provide support to the sales team for customer events that may include sampling and demonstration programs.CUSTOMER SPECIFIC ACTIVATION:Taking brand key visuals developed by our brand team, develop customer specific activation including wholesaler catalogues / channel promotions / truck signage etc to drive awareness of our product range within our customer base, concentrating on Wholesaler accounts.Liaise directly with Lactalis customers marketing teams regarding customer specific activation elementsREPORTING:In collaboration with sales, analysis the sales and financial performance of products where activation investments have been made (trade shows, wholesaler catalogues etc).Provide monthly Foodservice reporting on activations, category performance & NPD launches etc with direction from the National Sales Manager, Wholesaler and Distributor Director, and Customer Director.BUDGET MANAGEMENT:Monitor and control activation expenditure and ensure it is spent within budget parameters aligned with Marketing Manager.Validate, raise POs and approve invoices within the authorised limits.Ensure all business activities comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.Other duties as required.Experience and skills that you can bring to this role: To succeed in this role the following experience are required:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field3+ years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in an FMCG company. About the role

Experience and skills that you can bring to this role:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in an FMCG company. Past experience working in the dairy industry considered a bonus
  • Proven track record of working closely with customers & the ability to translate their needs into strategy & action plan.
  • Experience supporting field sales teams with the necessary tools
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
