The role supports managers by analysing and explaining monthly results for their areas of responsibility and provides targeted accounting and financial insights that enable informed decision‑making and contribute to overall business value.Responsibilities include:Complete Month End Accounting in accordance with the set format and within the set timeframe. Provide a summary of Functional Expenditure and significant variances to plans to Business Partners. Assist with providing the appropriate accounting and functional support to managers and their staff Assist management with the preparation of Capital expenditure Proposals and evaluations. Preparation of weekly, monthly reports and KPI’s related to Supply Chain activities Analysis of business trends and issues Preparation of budget and monthly forecasting Reconcile General Ledger Balance Sheet Accounts, including control accounts. Investigate and follow up all outstanding uncleared items. Provide assistance with Project work to other Accounting staff and Management Teams. Identify and undergo training for the development of career opportunities. About you:The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Commercial Accounting or any relevant field. Working towards professional accreditation such as CA or CPA is highly regarded.To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and possess strong skills in ERP systems, ideally SAP. The position requires confidence working with financial data, reconciling complex balance sheet and control accounts, analysing trends, and producing accurate financial and management reports within tight timeframes.The role requires a professional who consistently upholds high ethical standards and demonstrates strong integrity. They must have excellent attention to detail paired with advanced analytical thinking, ensuring accuracy and high‑quality output. A strategic and proactive mindset is important, along with the ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships across functions.
