Pillar brands such as Paul’s, OAK, Ice Break, Tamar Valley Dairy, Vaalia, President and Galbani provide Lactalis Australia with a deep national footprint for growth and prosperity.Reporting to the Team Lead – SAP Technical you will be pivotal in delivering IT services to our organisation.  You will be highly motivated to succeed, have a genuine sense of urgency in delivering business value/benefits through service delivery and have a passion for great customer service.You will have an opportunity to work in a long term permanent role where you will be an integral part of our company success.ResponsibilitiesProvide SAP solution administration support to SAP business clients.Maintain the capacity, availability and performance of Linux and Oracle database systems to meet service levels of SAP solutions.Proactively monitor SAP, Linux and database systems, undertake fault detection and incident/problem resolution.Monitor and assess system performance trend analysis, undertake regular systems housekeeping and make recommendation or undertake resolution to ensure optimal performance and availability of SAP systems.Work closely with IT Applications teams and other IT Technical team members to ensure alignment and support of new initiatives.Highlight cyber security risks associated with SAP solutions and provide mitigating controls or resolution where required.Handle multiple tasks concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met and industry best practices are followed.Undertake rostered "downtime window" administration and after hours on-call support.Provide internal consulting services where specialist SAP Basis, Oracle or Linux systems knowledge is required.Evaluate, design and implement new and emerging SAP solutions.Provide input into strategies, standards, policies and future planning.Develop documentation of high-level designs or implemented solutions and contribute to the development of operational procedures.Contribute to the Information System Disaster Recovery Manual and coordinate contingency testing.Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and peers at all levels.Escalate issues to external support organisations when required.Ensure success in terms of positive results and client satisfaction.Skills / Experience / Qualifications RequiredRelevant tertiary studies and/or industry certifications.  Planning, implementation, management, configuration and maintenance of SAP Solutions such as:SAP Netweaver ABAP and Java stacksSAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/ECC)SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)SAP LiveCacheSAP Business Warehouse, Business Objects and LumiraSAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII)SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)SAP GatewaySAP Cloud ConnectorsSAP Adobe Document Services (ADS)SAP Process Integration (PI)SAP Web DispatcherSAP Single Sign-OnOpenText Archive Center (desirable)OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (desirable)Fiori AppsPlanning, implementation, management, configuration and maintenance of database applications on Linux operating systems such as:OracleMaxDBSAP HANAPlanning, implementation, management, configuration and maintenance of RedHat Enterprise Linux operating systems and associated server technologies including VMWare ESXi.A good understanding of network protocols particularly TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, X.509 and NTP.Knowledge and awareness of standards pertaining to Cyber Security and best practices to mitigate associated security risks.Experience in writing policies and procedures and other support documentation.Understanding and experience with monitoring tools, backup technologies and disaster recovery methodologies.Strong analytic skills in order to convert risk and incident data into actionable items and meaningful management information.Solid experience in writing policies and procedures and other support documentation.Good oral and written communication skills, strong troubleshooting skills and customer service focus.This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading global organisation during an exciting time of company growth and success.  If you are confident with your experience and have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role and wish to join an impressive global business and be part of a healthy working environment, please submit your application including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts. No Recruitment Agencies - We have this one covered!
