About the OpportunityWe are now seeking a production operator to join our Longwarry Food Park business based at Longwarry, West Gippsland just outside of Melbourne. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a leading role in the day to day within our production plant to ensure timely and quality delivery of product to schedule and specification. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have extensive previous dairy experience. You will have excellent communication and trouble shooting skills to see you through this challenging role. You will have highly developed organisational and time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to work under pressure. You'll be a team player who possesses knowledge of GMP, HACCP and OHS principles. Your ability to follow standard operating procedures is also critical to this role. Previous exposure to SAP and SCADA systems will also be viewed favourably. TrainingTraining will be supplied for the running of production lines. We encourage the growth of our team with multi skilling across our production activities. Ownership & ResponsibilitiesThese are semi-autonomous roles with the support of production Coordinators where ownership of the plant is yours, log sheets are completed and responsibility and care is taken to ensure all quality parameters are met. Shift work hoursThere are a number of different roster rotations dependent on the production line. These are subject to change, in adherence with the current site EBA observed.
