You will be responsible for managing one of the major key portfolio’s in our business that is critical for our success within the Woolworths account. Based at Lidcombe  and reporting to the Cheese Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing the relationship within your portfolio with Woolworth’s nationally. You will be one of the main point of contacts internally and externally for this account, continually offering exceptional customer service. With a creative and entrepreneurial mind set to look for new opportunities you will create and execute business maximizing category performance to deliver sustainable growth for both parties. This role is not for the faint-hearted! It is action packed, fast paced, has loads of variety and will have you thinking on your feet!!  Key responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong and influential relationships with key customers and collaborating internally with key stakeholders to deliver first class insights and solutionsLead the development and execution of the customers short- and long-term strategies, optimising profitability and sales revenueDeep understanding of the customer’s environment (external trends, competitors and customers current and future needs)Leverage insights to implement solutions and identify new opportunities to deliver resultsYou will drive range reviews, promotions and negotiationsYou will develop strategies to improve profitabilityYou will engage & build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersTo ensure your success in this role you will be able to:Demonstrate sales and account management experience, that includes selling, negotiating and leveraging insights to deliver tailored customer plansPrevious customer exposure, with grocery experience (especially Woolworths) an advantageExperience in developing and managing a budget and trade revenue optimization and delivering in budget and ROIHigh learning agility and ability to work within a fast-paced environmentDeveloping proactive strategies to maximise the account including optimum profitability for the long term.Achievement of set financial, category, strategic, marketing and sales plans and objectives.Coordinating the information link between Sales, Marketing, Marketing, Forecasting/Demand Planning, Distribution functions and retail trade to enhance timely and appropriate action/responses to support customer needs.Consensus Forecasting for all categories/products weekly.You will be commercially competent, have a sharp understanding of our competitive environment and our unique market challenges. Your ability to build relationships and rapport with internal and external customers is paramount with a demonstrated knowledge of FMCG sales and trends.
