With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About this Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Industrial team in Rowville. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a leading role in the strategy and day to day activity of maintenance and project work across site to ensure timely delivery of quality product to schedule and specification.Through your effective leadership, you will implement continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of workplace safety, legislative and regulatory requirements, company policies, GMP, expenditure and people management (employees and contractors). An integral part of this role will be maintaining the preventative maintenance and continuous improvement systems and procedures to reduce plant downtime and increase line efficiencies.Your strong communication and conflict resolution skills will see you through this challenging role. You will have highly developed organisational and time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to identify and implement business improvement opportunities.Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ensuring plant equipment and line efficiencies are maintained to the level acceptable to the business;Implement SAP Preventative Maintenance Programs;   Monitor the efficiencies of the Preventative Maintenance and Condition Monitoring programs;Recommending and implementing operating plans, budgets and capital within budget guidelines;Ensuring the maintenance operation performs within the budgetary guidelines and that the Business Plan objectives are achieved;Coach and manage your team of direct reports to achieve quality, compliance, safety and maintenance requirements.About You The successful candidate will have:Experience in the food industry (preferably dairy) with solid FMCG industry knowledge;Engineering Degree or Trade qualification (preferably Fitting or Electrical) essential;Sound influencing and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate people;Excellent interpersonal/communication skills;Superior analytical and problem solving ability;Excellent project management skills;Sound ability to effectively manage costs/ budgets;Demonstrated ability to develop and implement improvement initiatives;Negotiation and change management skills;Experience and knowledge with industry compliance requirements;Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and OHS is essential;Demonstrated experience in championing best practice.This is an opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader to join our team.
