This role will assist the General Manager – Legal and Senior Legal Counsel in the provision of legal services to the Australian group incorporating legal counsel and legal compliance. Reporting to the General Manager - Legal, you will provide advice and assistance, as required to team members throughout the group, including the sales, marketing, engineering and procurement teams in relation to contracts and statutory compliance.This is a rare opportunity for you to join a leading, global organisation in a role that is both challenging and rewarding.This role will include:Undertaking a range of different legal tasks as directed by senior team members.Collaborating with external legal counsel in relevant legal matters.Provide timely advice in support of senior team members regarding, contract, Australian Consumer Law, intellectual property and other general legal issuesPreparing draft agreements using suite of template documents.Approving marketing material produced for external release (including but not limited to new / revised packaging and media advertising copy.Ideal CandidateTo ensure your success in this role you will have a current practising certificate. You will have conceptual, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills, as well as possess high level communication, relationship-building and organisational abilities.
