The role will report to the Darwin Site Manager. The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to;Liaise with the site planner to monitor stock levels ensuring they are adequate to cover sale requirements.Procure all packaging materials and ingredients to meet the production schedule using SAP based systemsContinual review of stocks and stock levels to reduce write offs (Ensure write offs including short coded product) are keyed daily, so as costs are maintained and or to generate saving to the company.Manage the stock control for the blow moulding area.Ensure company products are correctly received, stored, recorded and issued in a sound, saleable condition.Stocks and use-by-codes are regularly monitored in alignment with shift activity, maintaining customer service.Carry out inventory control, stock balances and reconciliation on DC related inventory, daily, via SAP.Perform weekly cycle counts and end of year inventory checks / stock reconciliation.Investigation of large discrepancies with correct costs center allocations administered.Daily communications with internal departmental stock controllers for discrepancy control.Credit control monitoring and review of the weekly credit reports to ensure timely process in alignment with the business commitment to the customer.Reviews of fast / slow moving and identified problem SKU’s carried out on a regular basis with recommendations implemented for corrective actions.GMP standards maintained and monitored.Close daily working relationship between AM & PM shift supervisors with an emphasis on continual improvement.Ensure standard reporting systems and records are maintained as required and completed by the end of the shift. The successful candidate will possess a functional knowledge of SAP, along with experience and sound knowledge in the principles on Inventory Management best practices. If you have the enthusiasm to succeed and are seeking a position in a highly sought after organisation with excellent long term potential for career progression, then please submit your application and current resume below.
