Lactalis Australia’s extensive range is only further complemented by our parent company, Lactalis’ specialty cheese brands which include Lemnos, Jindi, President & Galbani. Lactalis Australia is experiencing strong growth and has achieved this through clear direction and dedicated employees. About the OpportunityLocated at Echuca, this position will appeal to a dynamic personality who is prepared to work closely with our operations, engineering and maintenance teams during a period of significant expansion.  You will be key in ensuring a safe environment for employees and contractors as we install new lines and expand our production workforce.In this role you will:Ensure employees and contractors understand and comply with HSE requirements,Undertake pro-active risk assessments on new and existing equipment,Lead and participate in safety investigations to implement preventative and corrective actions,Drive the company safety agenda through clear communication and engaging the site team.Nurture a winning safety culture.The successful candidate will possess:Appropriate OHS education (tertiary preferred) and knowledge of Australian OHS regulations.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role,Performance-driven and able to work well under pressure combined with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at any given time,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.This is an opportunity to gain experience in a global organisation in a role that is both is both challenging and rewarding.
