This farming rich region is well known for producing premium fruit and first grade milk.The OpportunityWe are in search of an experienced Coolroom Operator to join our dynamic Logistics team at our Forrestdale Distribution Centre. Working under the guidance of the Distribution Centre Manager, your responsibilities will include:Replenishment: Using manual tools to move items from storage to active pick areas.Crate and Inner Picking: Hand-selecting crates, boxes, or units and placing them on a pallet.Pallet Picking: Using manual handling tools or forklift to c complete or partial orders on pallets for shipping.Despatch Consolidation and Pallet Wrapping: Organising tasks that involve using a pallet mover (if needed) to prepare pallets for loading, ensuring efficient use of trailer space and safety.Receiving and storing pallets from production.Receiving and Unloading Pallets: Transferring pallets from trucks to designated areas for processing incoming goods. Checking for damage and verifying that goods match invoices.Using Warehouse Management System (WMS), Radio Frequency (RF), and Voice System: Employing technology systems for managing warehouse operations.What you can bring to the roleOur ideal candidate is a proficient with a strong team-oriented mindset.
