The overall purpose of this role is the end-to-end category management of defined categories (including but not limited to soft commodities, texturizing agents, flavours and colours). In managing these categories, you will be responsible for their financial performance including identification and delivery of cost savings projects, establishing and making recommendations on short and long term supplier strategies, as well as providing support to the manufacturing sites and NPD projects.You will also be required to produce regular reporting for senior stakeholders (Exco Members and Procurement Directors) such as commodity market reports, business unit dashboards, internal reporting on savings / rebates, payment term performance.About you:Ideally you will have approximately 5 years’ experience within the procurement space. You will have a high level of enthusiasm for learning and can pick up tasks quickly. Your pragmatism, analytical skills and attention to detail will get you over the line!The role requires a well-balanced individual to use their solid commercial acumen and strategic mindset to provide outcomes, whilst supporting the operations of the business.
