The role has responsibility for the Dairy operations based in Harvey (140km south of Perth).Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will play an integral role in the day to day activity across processing, production and packaging and your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Ensuring production is as per the production schedule, and manufacturing cost budgets;Ensure compliance to food safety requirements for all products manufactured;Ensure all product produced are to company specification and in line with quality guidelines and expectations of our customers;Coach and manage your team of direct reports to achieve budget, quality, production requirements; and matters relating to employee performance and development;Promote a positive customer service culture by delivering service excellence to both internal and external customers focusing on optimum utilization of resources;Implement continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of workplace safety, expenditure and people management.To be considered for this position, you will require:Experience in a dairy and/or food manufacturing environment at a similar level;Previous experience in the supervision, leading and development of teams;Strong communication skills, written and verbal;Demonstrated self-motivation;Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving skills;Previous experience identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives;Highly developed organisational, time management and administrative skills.Your pro-active, hands-on leadership style complemented by a professional work ethic will inspire the team to reach higher goals.
