Collaboration, flexibility and diversity are pillars of our environment.  With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About the RoleReporting to the Commercial Manager Y&D, the Category Manager will be responsible for translating insights and facts into effective and actionable shopper focused category plans to ensure the long term vitality of our yoghurt & dessert portfolio.You will be the Y&D Category expert to the customer, taking responsibility for developing and implementing clear channel strategies.  Work closely with Marketing to develop category strategies taking into account channel and customer-specific shopper insights and development opportunities.Strong contribution to ranging, pricing, promotion and shelf strategy based on shopper insights, working collaboratively with shopper marketing, sales and marketing teams.Skills & requirementsDegree qualified, with strong financial and commercial acumenCategory product knowledge and a minimum of 5+ year’s commercial experience in a customer facing Category, Senior Account or Shopper Insights management role within the FMCG sectorStrong category leadership in the development of Point of Purchase Strategies and a clear ability to win customer commitment through robust planning within cross-functional businessesExceptional leadership to inspire a culture of action that drives insights into having a competitive advantage.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team that have strong levels of investment into both NPD and leading commercial / category solutions.  To ensure your success in this role you will have solid category experience demonstrating strong leadership, conflict resolution, and influential presentation and negotiation skills.Financially competent, you will have a sharp understanding of our competitive environment and our unique market challenges.  Your ability to build relationships and rapport with internal and external customers is paramount.  Demonstrated knowledge of FMCG sales and trends, Nielsen/Aztec data analysis and SAP will be highly regarded.In return we offer an exciting career challenge for you to make an immediate impact, career growth opportunities, competitive salary package and a team orientated and fast paced work environment committed to succeeding.If you have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role please submit your application, including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts.No Recruitment Agencies – We have this one covered!
