This position is a full time position and is based in Harvey, in the South West Region of Western Australia.Key responsibilities for this role are:Proactively assist the DC Manager & Coordinators in all areas of the operation including assisting to run the daily shift on the floor.Assist the Manager to ensure that all employees meet required distribution schedules.Oversee staffing in all areas by allocating duties, arranging meal breaks, providing relief as required, giving positive and constructive feedback and reporting possible disciplinary situations to your manager as appropriate.Promote efficient operation of machines, report any issues promptly to the appropriate areaOversee the operation of associate factory equipment to comply with Lactalis specifications, policies, procedures and safety standards.Ensure that relevant documentation relating to the areas of responsibility are maintained to pre-set standardsThe ideal candidate will have the following experience:Demonstrated experience in a warehousing, distribution or logistics environmentCurrent High Risk Forklift licence requiredExperience within a FMCG environmentSupervisory skills to ensure that team members are being trained and utilised efficientlyDemonstrated ability to understand and comply with company health and safety policies and proceduresCommitment to coaching & mentoring the teamGood computer skills and previous experience with warehousing systemsYou will be a team player, with a positive can do attitude.  Someone who has the ability to build relationships, solve problems and achieve results, which will be clear factors in your success.  If you are a dedicated individual who prides yourself on your communication skills and attention to detail, have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role, please submit your application, including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts. We would like to take the opportunity to thank you in advance for applying for this position, however only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
