About this OpportunityWe have an opportunity for an experienced Safety professional to join a market leading, global organisation in a key site operational role that is both challenging and rewarding. Parmalat offers great employee benefits and big opportunities.This role will be a pivotal part of the site and will take ownership for the day to day operational Safety, Health and Environmental functions at the South Brisbane factory. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:Operating as a key SHE business partner to the site leadership team;Engaging with line managers and their teams on safety, health and environmental matters;Building solid relationships with your line managers and their teams, assisting them to implement SHE plans in line with Parmalat National SHE strategies and standards;Managing the development, coordination and facilitation of site SHE related training;Supporting and coaching your line managers and their teams to implement and manage SHE in their areas, and undertaking accident and near miss investigations and reports;Ensuring your line managers and their teams comply with relevant SHE legislative requirements; andManaging and implementing the site injury management and rehabilitation processes.We are looking for a safety professional with:A tertiary qualification in SafetyA confident interpersonal style, with excellent influencing and negotiation skillsProven ability to engage, coach and foster positive relationships with line managers and their teamsExperience in providing day to day operational SHE guidance and adviceKnowledge of, and demonstrated ability to, advise and apply statutory obligations in respect to OH&S LegislationExperience in SHE Management SystemsProven success in behavioural / cultural program rolloutsExperience in workers compensation & RTWWe are looking for an individual who will drive a positive company culture by living and breathing the company values of Ambition, Engagement & Simplicity and will be a role model for working safely and promoting a safe working environment.
