WE ARE PARMALAT AUSTRALIAParmalat Australia Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the listed Italian company Parmalat SpA, which in turn is part of the Lactalis Group, the world’s largest producer of dairy goods.  The company is committed to playing a daily role in the health and well-being of consumers throughout the world, via the provision of nutritious dairy products – milk, cheese, yoghurt, and other soft foods and beverages.At the heart of our business locally, we have over 2,500 passionate employees, working closely and constructively with some 500 Australian farmers to produce the finest dairy products in the country.We are a growing global company that takes great pride in who we are.  We are humble, proud and resilient.  Our brands, people and know how define who we are.We provide a workplace that delivers the opportunity to drive your development, and believe that true success comes from us.Collaboration, flexibility and diversity are pillars of our environment.  With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About this opportunity:Reporting to the CIO you will be pivotal in delivering IT services to our organisation.  You will be highly motivated to succeed, have a genuine sense of urgency in delivering business value/benefits through technology and have a passion for great customer service.You will have an opportunity to work in a 12 month fixed term role, with a possibility of going to permanent, where you will be an integral part of our company success. Responsibilities:Lead a team of dedicated help desk professionals and be part of the IT Senior Leadership teamChampion continuous improvement, using methods such as ITIL Problem Management to improve service and efficiencyEnsure key service measurements are captured, analysed, communicated and improvedFormulate strategies and manage the service desk proactively to optimise response time, resolution time and customer satisfactionDeveloping and leverage relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of goalsImplement relevant and meaningful standard operating procedures and processes to meet customer, team and organisational expectationsDevelop, measure and monitor Service Levels in accordance with organisational requirements.Proactively communicating with the wider Parmalat team about IT and the services we offer including inducting new starters into technologyRelevant skills and experience include: ITIL Qualified with practical experience working and leading teams in an ITIL environment.Minimum of 12 years in the IT field with at least 6 years in a senior management role in a team of  5 or more and a minimum of 3 years in an IT service management/delivery role.Demonstrated leadership skills, experience developing a high performance cultureDemonstrated strong documentation, communication and presentation skills.Very organised and able to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.Thorough knowledge of service desk  operations including a good knowledge of  best practices, industry trends and customer service.Experience delivering Help Desk services in environments with CISCO, WINTEL platforms, Exchange and Citrix environments, both hardware and software.  SAP support experience highly regardedUniversity level education with background in either business, accounting, computer science, information systems, computer engineering or equivalent industry qualifications and experience.Key Success Attributes:Ability to communicate at all levels of an organisationStrong customer service skillsWell respected leader and mentor within previous teamsAbility to build relationships and work with peers within the organisation to deliver service levels that meet the needs of the organisation.This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading global organisation during an exciting time of company growth and success. If you are confident with your experience and have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role and wish to join an impressive global business and be part of a healthy working environment, please submit your application including current resume by clicking on the Apply button below.
