Collaboration, flexibility and diversity are pillars of our environment.  With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About the OpportunityWe are now seeking a Senior Purchasing Officer who will report to the Site Manager, Bendigo and be responsible for the planning and purchasing of product’s in line with Parmalat guidelines, update pricing, managing logistics and supplier relationships. Based in Bendigo, this role will be responsible for:Manage purchasing request requisitions before committing to purchase in relation to price, quality, delivery, customer requirements and market trends.Authorise all purchase orders raised, ensuring accuracy and that goods/services are purchased under conditions that are to the Company’s benefit.Ensure that stock levels are maintained at an optimised level both in terms of customer usage needs and cost management through regular liaison with suppliers.Assist in maintaining the stock inventory catalogue in relation to stock descriptions, part numbers, and existing codification practices.Plan and coordinate multiple projects to meet work schedules.Actively promote systems, policies and procedures to improve the department’s operational performance.Work with other purchasing and supply personnel to achieve a smooth and efficient department.Collate statistical data on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.Ideal Candidate  You will possess:Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skillsSAP Warehouse Management System experience and order and shipments management (preferred)Proficiency in MS Excel and WordStrong organisation and time management skillsAbility to work in a team environmentIn return we offer training and support, career progression opportunities, a competitive salary package and a team orientated and fast paced work environment committed to succeeding.If you are a dedicated individual and pride yourself on your attention to detail, have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role please submit your application, including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts.No Recruitment Agencies: We have this one covered!   AUD Bendigo 3550
