With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!Our OpportunityReporting to the Research & Development (R&D) Team Leader Packaging this role is responsible for developing diverse packaging projects across multiple categories and manufacturing sites.Main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:Managing and delivering packaging technical activities for new product development, renovations, packaging innovations, productivity and sustainability initiativesEnsuring technical feasibility and successful implementation of technical validationsKeeping records, generating reports and updates relating to development projectsDeveloping project timelines for packaging activities, communicating risks and mitigation plans Mentoring junior R&D Packaging team membersStakeholder engagement – Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, R&D team, Procurement, Quality and SuppliersThe successful applicant will have a Tertiary qualification in Food and/or Packaging and you must have at least 5 years’ experience in packaging development in either Dairy or FMCG industry with a brand owner and/or with packaging supplier.You will have experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders at any one time, have a strong knowledge of packaging technologies (materials, blowing & molding processes, packaging line equipment & manufacturing), have the ability to efficiently communicate and work with people at all levels, be a team player, highly motivated and don’t be afraid to take ownership and initiative.In return we offer an exciting career challenge for you to make an immediate impact, career growth opportunities, competitive salary package and a team orientated and fast paced work environment committed to succeeding.If you have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role please submit your application, including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts.No Recruitment Agencies – We have this one covered!
