If you are a passionate and creative individual looking to further your career with a global organisation that prides itself on internal mobility, we have a role for you!This role represents a real opportunity to make a difference through taking ownership of continuous improvement initiatives and programs in a fast paced food production environment where safety and quality are paramount. This role holds accountability for promoting both the cultural and system components of the safety, health and environment framework on the frontline, whilst working closely with the national SHE team across the development of the safety management system and associated suite of programs.We are looking for an ambitious and pragmatic individual who will make the role their own and role model best practice and behaviours. A strong knowledge of the legislative framework both current and forecasted, is required to ensure our management system and associated programs are aligned/exceeding the legal requirements.This role acts a critical conduit between the national, regional and local leadership teams across both our industrial and corporate functions requiring excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate strategic goals into effective and relevant frontline outcomes. About you:We need a proactive person on the ground – someone willing and able to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. To ensure success in the role, the successful applicant requires the below toolkit:Minimum Cert IV in OHSFirst Aid (Nice to have)Excellent interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsa confident presenter (tool box talks etc.)able to effectively engage with blue collar workers & Supervisorsconversant with current OHS and Worksafe legislationAware of environmental requirements and restraintsCert IV in Workplace Trainer (preferred but not essential)You will be a pragmatic thinker with the ability to generate and interpret reports and data to drive meaningful change, review and measure the effectiveness of controls.
