Collaboration, flexibility and diversity are pillars of our environment.  With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About this OpportunityCurrently an exciting opportunity exists within Lactalis for an experienced supply chain and logistics professional to manage & control  inventory across our SEQ distribution network.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the finished product, daily stock controls, inventory counts & cycles, driving outcomes across both the provision of excellent customer service whilst simultaneously minimising company losses through stock dumps and poor inventory control. A key aspect of the role is liaising with both internal and external customers, therefore highly developed communication skills to lead & empower with a "can do" attitude will be critical to your success.Our Inventory Manager must have a strong focus on policy, process and controls within the DC, and ensure the appropriate resources are allocated to achieve results across these areas.  The role requires an outward focus, demonstrated through the performance of activities such as SOH reviews, days cover, fulfillment, rotation, MLOR, lead time reviews and DC capacity to support a plan.To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate 5+ years in inventory control & management, strong processes and system driven abilities to improve performance , ability to lead and develop a team, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (experience in SAP an advantage). You will work well within a team environment and have a genuine commitment to getting it right the first time, every time.
