About the Opportunity
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Production Manager to join one of our manufacturing sites at Bendigo.
Reporting and providing support to the Site Manager, you will play an integral role in the day to day activity across processing and packaging to ensure timely delivery of product to schedule and specification. Through your effective leadership, you will implement continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of workplace safety, expenditure and people management. You will also promote a positive customer service culture by delivering service excellence to both internal and external customers focusing on the optimum utilisation of resources.
Your dairy knowledge, strong communication, conflict resolution skills and ability to develop and improve your team will see you through this challenging role. You will have highly developed time management skills and cost control management as well as a demonstrated ability to identify and implement productivity and efficiency gains.
The successful applicant ideally has dairy experience, must be committed to driving operations to best practice, is energetic with a passion to grow and develop, and has excellent motivational and people skills. Experience of Lean methodologies are an advantage.
Your pro-active, hands-on leadership style complemented by a professional work ethic will inspire the team to reach higher goals.
