They have developed market leadership through their people, quality and innovation.About the OpportunityWe are now seeking a team-oriented leader, to take up the position of Production Coordinator in our Sunshine Coast QLD (Nambour) factory.You will play an integral role in the day to day activity across processing and packaging to ensure timely delivery of product to schedule and specification. More specifically, your day to day duties will include (but are not limited to):Coordinating, developing, training and evaluating production team members;Coordinating and participating in improvement programs, process changes and process capability improvement initiatives;Ensuring that all manufactured product are in line with the cost budget and product specifications;Enforcing company policies and work rules in a fair and objective manner; andLeading by example in the development of a proactive safety culture.Working knowledge of SAP will be beneficialTo be considered, you'll have experience within a FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment, ideally in a dairy manufacturing context, coupled with strong supervisory experience. A proven ability in the areas of GMP, Safety, Quality and leadership is required as a basis for this role. Please Note: The role may also require you to work shift work.Parmalat is looking for an effective leader with excellent interpersonal communication skills which will ensure your ability to build rapport with your teams as you provide training, mentoring and performance management. Your effective leadership and communication skills will also be put to use as you implement continuous improvement initiatives in the areas or workplace safety, expenditure and people management.A proven track record of promoting a positive customer service culture and delivering service excellence to both internal and external customers focusing on the optimum utilisation of resources will see you succeed in this dynamic and exciting opportunity.Importantly, you will also have highly developed organisational, time management and administrative skills as well as a demonstrated ability to identify and implement business improvement opportunities.
