This is a great opportunity for a logistics professional to play a key role in the development of the Transport Control Tower for our national domestic finished goods transport operations.Based in Scoresby, this role will be responsible for planning and communicating transport schedules daily between our plants, DCs, customers & distributors. This includes timeslot management (as required), managing events & NCRs, customer service queries, and overall delivery of safe effective and efficient transport operations to Lactalis and its customers.Leveraging previous logistics industry experience you will enhance and optimise processes to drive operational excellence working closely with internal stakeholders and transport suppliers.Ideally you will have:Proven experience in transport planning, scheduling & operationsStrong people and communication skillsStrong stakeholder management skillsSolid knowledge of COR (Chain of Responsibility) legislationAbility to identify continuous improvement opportunitiesProven experience in SAP & MS suites (predominately Excel)If you have the energy, are curious, proactive and driven to take things to the next level this might just be for you.Interested?
