About the Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Transport Scheduler to join our thriving and successful supply chain and logistics team. This is a great opportunity for a logistics professional to play a key role in the development of the Transport Control Tower for our national domestic finished goods transport operations.
Based in Scoresby, this role will be responsible for planning and communicating transport schedules daily between our plants, DCs, customers & distributors. This includes timeslot management (as required), managing events & NCRs, customer service queries, and overall delivery of safe effective and efficient transport operations to Lactalis and its customers.
Leveraging previous logistics industry experience you will enhance and optimise processes to drive operational excellence working closely with internal stakeholders and transport suppliers.
Ideally you will have:
- Proven experience in transport planning, scheduling & operations
- Strong people and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Solid knowledge of COR (Chain of Responsibility) legislation
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Proven experience in SAP & MS suites (predominately Excel)
