With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!Our OpportunityWe are looking for you!  You are a dynamic and experienced National Account Executive who has the desire to work as part of our Independents Account Team. This role has loads of variety and will have you thinking on your feet daily!Based at Lidcombe and reporting to the National Account Manager, you will be responsible to deliver sales across a defined portfolio and lead the teams field execution plans.Responsibilities for this role also include:Preparation of customer financial, category, strategic, marketing and sales plans.Coordinate and control communication between Parmalat and Metcash to enhance the customer experience and assist in developing shopper led strategiesEffective management of customer promotional plans across Metcash and major MSO groups for the Dairy and UHT categoriesLiaise with the demand planning team and VMI to develop timely and accurate forecastsIdentify opportunities for business growth and recommend actions plansLiaise with Marketing and Customer Marketing regarding product development, product launches and special customer requirementsDeliver solid plans to the field operations team and measure compliance and objectives against strategyManaging Trade Spend and execute range reviews with Metcash and assist with any other MSO reviews.Develop proactive strategies to maximise your Customer Portfolio including building medium and long term strategies for optimum profitabilityProvide analytical support to the team to help with fact based decision makingYou will have strong account management experience demonstrating leadership, conflict resolution, presentation and negotiation skills. You will be financially competent and have a sharp understanding of our competitive environment and our unique market challenges.Your ability to build relationships and rapport with internal and external customers is paramount.
