With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About the OpportunityWe are now seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our Longwarry Food Park business based at Longwarry, West Gippsland just outside of Melbourne. Reporting and providing support to the Site Manager, you will play a leading role in the strategy and day to day activity across maintenance to ensure timely delivery of product to schedule and specification.Through your effective leadership, you will implement continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of workplace safety, legislative and regulatory requirements, company policies, GMP, expenditure and people management (employees and contractors). Implementing preventative maintenance and continuous improvement procedures to reduce plant downtime and increase line efficiencies will be an integral part of this role.Your strong communication and conflict resolution skills will see you through this challenging role. You will have highly developed organisational, time management and administrative skills as well as a demonstrated ability to identify and implement business improvement opportunities. Your pro-active, hands-on leadership style complemented by a professional work ethic will inspire the team to reach higher goals.To be successful in this position, you must have:Sound influencing and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate people;Trade qualification (preferably Fitting or Electrical), preferred but not essential;Experience in the food industry (preferably dairy) with solid FMCG industry knowledge;Superior analytical and problem solving ability;Excellent project management and interpersonal/communication skills;Sound ability to effectively manage costs;Demonstrated ability to develop & implement improvement initiatives;Negotiation and change management skills;Experience and knowledge with industry compliance requirements;Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and OHS is essential;Demonstrated experience in championing best practice.If you are a dedicated individual and pride yourself on your attention to detail, have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role please submit your application, including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts.No Recruitment Agencies: We have this one covered!  AUD Longwarry 3816
