About the OpportunityLocated in Clarence Gardens, we are seeking a highly motivated, pro-active Maintenance Coordinator within the maintenance department of our dairy products operation.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for:Increasing the site operation effectiveness, improve on project delivery, downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans.Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.Proactively improve the preventive maintenance process in terms of quality and organisation, with the support of the Maintenance Planner.Minimise maintenance costs and maintain machine and line efficiencies to a level acceptable to the company.Lead by example with positive behaviour performance and build a strong team of individuals.Ensure the maintenance operation performs within the budgetary guidelines and that the Business Plan objectives are achieved.Actively promote behaviour in your employees that is consistent with achievement of the KPI’s and all other company objectives, such as zero injuries, no compromise attitude to safety, reporting of all near misses and incident investigation.Ensure compliance with all company and industry regulations and standards in the manufacturing process.Experience/Skills Required:Electrical/Mechanical trade background,Previous experience working within the Dairy Industry – highly desirable,Knowledge of food manufacturing machinery and equipment,Previous experience in managing a diverse workforce,Excellent communication skills,Excellent stakeholder engagement, both internal and external,A working knowledge of SAP would be desirable, andYou won’t be afraid to "get your hands dirty" with the ability to manage short and changing time lines and priorities in a fast paced organisationWe need someone who is a leader and enjoys coaching and mentoring their staff in a hands on manner. You will be motivated and driven to deliver on business objectives and be pro-active when it comes to safety and continuous improvement initiative.
