With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About this opportunity:We are seeking a team-oriented individual for a casual position of Laboratory Technician in our Echuca Laboratory. Laboratory experience will be highly regarded. You must be self-motivated; able to work shift work which will include weekends and nights as required and have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team.Key accountabilities of role chemical and bacteriological analyses of in-line and finished product and raw materials.prompt and accurate test results communicated to internal and external customers, both written and oral.maintain equipment calibration schedules and ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained at all times.You will also receive, check and store all consumables for the laboratory and undertake other duties as required.The successful candidate will hold a Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or similar, or have previous experience in a laboratory / testing supporting a food manufacturing operation.
