Collaboration, flexibility and diversity are pillars of our environment.  With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About this opportunity:We are seeking a team-oriented individual for a casual position of Laboratory Technician in our Echuca Laboratory.  Laboratory experience will be highly regarded.  You must be self-motivated; able to work shift work which will include weekends and nights as required and have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team.Key accountabilities of role   chemical and bacteriological analyses of in-line and finished product and raw materials.prompt and accurate test results communicated to internal and external customers, both written and oral.maintain equipment calibration schedules and ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained at all times.You will also receive, check and store all consumables for the laboratory and undertake other duties as required.The successful candidate will hold a Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or similar, or have previous experience in a laboratory / testing supporting a food manufacturing operation.  A working knowledge of HACCP and OH&S is desirable but not essential.You will have strong communication skills and a dedication to get it right the first time.If you have the enthusiasm to succeed and are seeking a casual opportunity within a professional laboratory environment then please submit your application, including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts. No Recruitment Agencies: We have this one covered!
