About this Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a talented person who is ready to kick some serious goals. If you are self-motivated, driven and passionate then we have a role for you as a Key Account Manager in the P&C Team.
Reporting to the National Account Manager P&C and based in Melbourne, you will work collaboratively with the customer and the internal field sales teams to drive visibility and presence of your brands within the P&C channel in order to achieve revenue and profit targets to increase market share.
You will be responsible for ranging, new product presentations, adherence to trading terms of a defined customer base and reviewing retail customer pricing on a regular basis.
As a strategic thinker you will develop proactive strategies to maximise account business. You will also be required to contribute to:
- State volume budget planning;
- Development of account strategy plans;
- Product pricing strategy; and
- Promotions and advertising strategy for accounts.
We are looking for an outstanding sales professional, with strong account management experience, who thrives in a progressive and dynamic FMCG environment. To give you that extra edge you will be able to demonstrate acute commercial awareness, an intimate knowledge of our competitive marketplace and excellence in customer relations.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- FMCG Sales background
- Experience on a major grocery or Route based i.e. Petrol & Convenience account is advantageous
- Excellent Account Management skills, strategic vision, planning and execution ability
- Strong negotiating skills and computer literacy are pre-requisites (sufficient proficiency in all MS office applications as well as SAP & BW)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
