With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference! About this opportunity:An opportunity has arisen for an Export Manager to join our National Transport team based at our new Scoresby office in Victoria. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, driven person to add value and improve our efficiency of flow for our International Trade.  This role is responsible for the leadership of all international flows from production to customer including, but not limited to,  Ocean Freight, 3PL Distribution Centre, Export administration etc.We are looking for someone to lift the knowledge and outcomes of our export and import business with a large focus on improving safety, service, process, and performance. Provide our business with operational solutions to maintain Parmalat’s competitive advantage in the international transactions, as well as regularly monitor and update key stakeholders on alternative shipping corridors and  solutions.You will critically maintain and review export and import processes within our Shipping office and where required within operational units. P&L accountability for all international logistics.Expectations for this role also include:Lead export and import process improvement to optimize flow of product from source to customerCoach and develop the international team to best in class performanceDelegate and manage resources appropriately to ensure that functional objectives are delivered.Oversee the shipping administration functions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.Compile accurate data for budgeting purposes for all international Logistics.Develop, socialise and implement initiatives to minimise costs within Logistics cost centres that employ international trade routes.Establish performance standards and KPI’s for areas of control and manage the function to them.Provision and attainment of service expectation for both internal and external customers.Ensure compliance with all company and industry regulations and standardsEffectively manage 3PLs, with disciplined meeting rhythms to improve our KPI’s.Manage and reconcile International Trade spend in line with Budget expectation and volume variances.Ideal CandidateTo ensure your success in this role you will have strong authentic leadership skills with an ability to be ‘in the detail’ will be key to your success.
