With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!Our Opportunity Reporting to the Team Leader you will be pivotal in delivering IT services to our organisation. You will be highly motivated to succeed, have a genuine sense of urgency in delivering business value/benefits through service delivery and have a passion for great customer service.You will have an opportunity to work in a long term permanent role where you will be an integral part of our company success.Responsibilities:Provide line of support for service incident and service request resolution using face-to-face, telephone, and/or email communication to resolve as quickly as possible or in alignment with defined SLAs.Undertake PC hardware and software upgrades and rollouts using pre-built Standard Operating Environment (SOE) images and chosen deployment and management tools (Microsoft SCCM).Understand and provide input into SOE image maintenance and deployed applications.When required, assess user requirements for new software packages and/or hardware and provide guidance or make recommendation.Assist with installation and configuration of multifunction device (MFD) printing solutions and labelling solutions used in manufacturing and distribution environments.Assist with the configuration and support of the mobile device management (MDM) platform including Apple iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.Develop an understanding of laboratory equipment and their software requirements.Continually develop working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and associated Active Directory Group Policy settings.Maintain an understanding of VPN technologies and TCP/IP networking in general.Ensure systems are secure from unauthorized access and have the latest security software installed.Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Visit Parmalat sites to assist with hardware deployments and/or staff training exercises.Undertake rostered on-call after hours support for Critical and Urgent requests.Relevant skills and experience include:At least 3 years’ experience in an enterprise environment.Microsoft qualifications highly regarded but not mandatory.In-depth knowledge and practical experience in managing, deploying and updating PC hardware/software with Microsoft SCCM and WSUS.Understanding and configuration of Active Directory Group Policy settings, application packaging tools and scripting.Management of printer hardware and drivers.Management of Apple iOS and Android devices via MobileIron highly regarded but not mandatory.Experience in Citrix/Terminal Services environments with thin clients highly regarded but not mandatory.Understanding and experience with ITIL processes.Experience with support of critical 24x7 systems.Key Success Attributes:Ability to communicate at all levels of an organisationStrong customer service skillsAbility to build relationships and work with peers within the organisation to deliver service levels that meet the needs of the organisation.This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading global organisation during an exciting time of company growth and success.To Apply please forward your resume to our Talent Acquisition Manager by selecting ‘Apply’ and following the prompts.No Recruitment Agencies – We have this one covered!
