With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYA new opportunity has arisen for a Distribution Centre Coordinator to ensure stock is stored and distributed in a timely, accurate and safe manner. This position will take lead for the daily management of the afternoon shift (which runs from 2pm – 10pm) which include picking orders, loading trucks to schedule, stock control, health and safety, and employee relations on afternoon shift.Reporting to the DC Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Ensure load outs are completed accurately, safely and in accordance to schedulePlan and adjust labour to match volume requirementsManagement of incoming Production stock to ensure it is handled safely and stored correctly,Assist with Inventory related tasks to ensure stock holding accuracy is maintainedInvestigate problems to identify root cause analysis and provide recommendations for adjustmentsWork closely with the team to motivate and create a positive working cultureEnsure SOP’s are reviewed and updated accordinglyMonitor and report any operational cost variances to the DC ManagerMaintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders (internally and externally)To be successful in this role we will require the successful candidate to have at least 5+ years working experience in the field of logistics, preferably within a warehousing environment.  Strong computer skills with intermediate to advance skills in MS Excel Word and Power Point, SAP exposure and experience leading and developing teams is essential.If you are confident with your experience and have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role please submit your application to Luke Clynick in Human Resources by close of business 13th February 2019.
