Collaboration, flexibility and diversity are pillars of our environment.  With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About this opportunity:We currently have an exciting vacancy for a suitably qualified Corporate Solicitor based in South Brisbane.  This role will assist in the provision of legal services to the Australian group incorporating legal counsel and legal compliance. Reporting to the General Manager Legal, you will provide advice and assistance, as required to senior management and other team members throughout the group, including the sales, marketing, engineering and purchasing departments in relation to contracts and statutory compliance.This is a rare opportunity for you to join a market leading, global organisation in a key role that is both challenging and rewarding.Expectations for this role also include:Provide timely and accurate advice and guidance to line management on legal issues.Collaborate with external legal counsel in relevant legal matters.Advise management to ensure appropriate adequate legal compliance systems and training are in place throughout the company.Advise management to ensure that the company conforms to its statutory legal obligations under the relevant legislation.Approve marketing material produced for external release (including but not limited to new / revised packaging and media advertising copy).Ideal CandidateTo ensure your success in this role you will have a law degree with at least eight years practical experience. Some in-house experience is preferred  You will have demonstrated conceptual, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills, as well as possess high level communication, business relationship and organisational abilities.  Additionally, experience in any of contracts and contractual negotiations, trade practices, construction agreements and trademarks will be favourably considered.
